Japanese Masking Tape

Hello.

I have had some Japanese masking tape in my stash for a little while now, but was not really sure how I was going to use it. Then I came across Torico's blog (Wow! amazing lady) and saw this card (second card). I really like the black/craft combination.

Little wheels in my head started spinning and I decided the latest Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #16 would be perfect to use with my MT tape and the afore mentioned colour combo.

I am also entering this into Caardvarks Clean and Simple Challenge.

The tape does not look straight in the photo, but it is :) It's just my limited photography skills!

Here is my card, ultra simple. I love this tape! Sentiment stamp is from PTI.

So I was blog surfing my favourite blogs this afternoon and came across a couple of cards by Carly that I had to CASE. They are really simple but I love them.

This first card uses the In Bloom set by PTI.

The second card uses a sentiment from A Muse. I can't remember where I got the butterfly stamp from.

You Guessed It...

Yep, another Christmas card!

I just loved this card by Lucy, and I used this for my inspiration. I am entering it into Caardvarks Clean and Simple challenge (my second entry) and also ABC Christmas Challenge, which is 'T is for Tree'.

The tree stamp is from PTI and the sentiment and rhinestones are from A Muse.

I'm off to do some much neglected housework which can be put off no longer!

Holidays!

Hello!

I am on holidays at the moment, and I can't begin to tell you how blissful it is not having to go to work. And perhaps the word 'Holiday's' is to blame for my sudden urge to make Christmas cards.

This card is very simple. The ornament stamp is from PTI and I used the 'Rock n Roll' technique and then just inked the edges.

I decided to enter it into the 2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #42.

I'm Back!

Hello everyone! It's soooo good to have my computer back and running. I felt lost without it.

I don't have a card to share today :(

I have been busy loading new goodies into the shop. There are some new stamps from A Muse, including Christmas stamps. I will have more from A Muse in the next few days.

Also keep a look out for the new September release sets from Lawn Fawn and Practicing Creativity - both due very soon.

In the next few days I will also introduce a new product from Inchie Arts.

Eeek Computers!

Computers are a wonderful invention, and in fact I have been madly in love with my Mac from the moment my husband brought it home. It is typical, however, that as soon as the warranty runs out, said computer decides to die. It is, at the moment, at the shop receiving a new hard drive... hence my lack of posts this week.

I have managed to borrow a computer to post a quick update. With luck my Mac should be back Tuesday and all will be right with with the world again!

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

Happy Monday. Can a Monday be happy? Not sure when it means the end of the weekend and back to work!

I found some time tonight to make a card for a lady at work who just had a little boy. Everyone at work seems to be having babies! I decided to add a tag so that I could enter it into the latest The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #26.

The patterned paper and sentiment is PTI and the tag is a Tim Holtz fragments. The beautiful teddy stamp is from Inkadinkado.

Something Unexpected

It is a dreary kind of day here, perfect for spending some time stamping.

This card did not turn out the same as what was in my head...but I like it. I made it for the new A Muse Lounge Challenge #20. It is based on Julie's sketch (above). There are 3 sketches to choose from, so I hope to play again.

The two focal stamps are from Tim Holtz and the floral image is repeated and embossed in Tim Holtz Old Paper. I really love this sentiment stamp, which is from A Muse.

Happy Hump Day!

Yay it's Wednesday, that means only 2 days until the weekend.

I have a quick card to share today. I played with Lawn Fawn's 'Bake Me a Cake' set. These stamps are super fun and give great coverage.

The card stock is from Hero Arts and is textured. I paper pieced the cake with scraps of patterned paper I had. The sentiment is from PTI.
