New Challenge

I'm back, which means I was able to spend more time in my craft room..Yah! I found a new challenge blog - Scrapbook Boutique Challenge. This is their 2nd challenge, but it is only open to Australian residents.

The challenge was to create a project using two or more die cuts. I love my die cuts so this challenge was perfect for me.

Everything on this card was cut using my silhouette machine.

The challenge is open until midnight Tuesday, so its not too late to have a play!

A Whole Week!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Wow. I can not believe that I have not been near my craft room for a whole week! I've missed it. I spent some time this morning making a card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #12.

The sketch itself is very simple, which really allows this beautiful paper to be a focal point.

Hopefully I will be back with another post later tonight - if I get more time to play.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Addicted

I am seriously addicted to this A Muse gingham paper and baby cards! This is my third entry for the monthly A Muse Lounge Challenge: Stick to the Pattern.

I thought I would try my hand at a circle card for something different.

The gingham paper and the main sentiment are form A Muse, and the giraffe was cut using my Sizzix.

Enjoy your evening!

The Lollipop Ladies

Hello.

Yay for Fridays! I have been hanging out for the start of the weekend. Work just seems to get more and more stressful.

I made a card today for the The Lollipop Ladies Challenge #2. That pink icing really jumps out at you so, naturally, pink was my inspiration.

The card:

For the cake I used Lawn Fawn's 'Bake Me A Cake' stamp set. Love this set! It is seriously fun to play with.

I hope your weekend allows you plenty of time to create.

No. 2

Afternoon everyone,

I am really enjoying this months challenge over at the A Muse Lounge! You can read all about it here. There is some fantastic talent to be seen. This is my second entry!

This card was inspired by Carly. Check out her blog, Paper In Bloom, she makes amazing cards.

The patterned paper and the sentiment are from A Muse. The dinosaur is cut with a sizzix die and then embossed with 'Tiny Bubbles' from cuttlebug. The banner was hand drawn.

Thanks for dropping by.

MT Tape Has Arrived!

Hello all.

Wow, it has been a very busy few days here! Unfortunately I have no cards to share with you today... hopefully I will get some time to craft tomorrow.

However, in shop news, I would like to let you know that the MT Tape has arrived! MT Tape, or Japanese Washi Tape is an adhesive tape that has numerous uses. You can write letters on it, use it to seal envelopes, wrap presents, scrapbooking, cardmarking, collage and much more!

Also just in today is the NEW August release from Practicing Creativity. These stamps are a must have!

Drop by the shop and check it out!

Thank You and a New Challenge

I would like to thank everyone who has left a sweet comment for me. As someone new to blogging and new to challenges, it is great to have the support and encouragement from so many people!

Yesterday I discovered a new challenge blog - The Lollipop Ladies - and decided to play along with their very first challenge! The inspiration photo is YUM, it took me a while to stop thinking about desert and start creating.
Here is my card. The cupcake is a PTI stamp and I added Martha Stewart glitter for my sprinkles.
Thanks for looking. Tomorrow is hump day, yah!

Two posts, one day!

My second post for today! Woo-hoo!

I love A Muse stamps and I love making baby cards, so when I saw the latest A Muse Lounge Monthly Challenge, I couldn't resist playing along. This months challenge was *Stick to the Pattern*.

The elephant and wagon are cut out with my Sizzix. The elephant uses A Muse gingham paper - love this! The sentiment and the grass are both A Muse stamps.

Enjoy whats left of your Sunday!

Challenges are, well...challenging!

So today I decided to play along with the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #9. I really did struggle with this. The sketch itself is great, but I wanted to do something a little different with it.
In the end I flipped the design, but I am not really sure it was a great success. Still, thats what challenges are all about!
I cut the numbers out using my Silhouette machine. The lace is from Fancy Pants and I used Spellbinders Fancy Tag. The sentiment was done on my computer.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC41

Good morning!

I managed to squeeze in some crafting time last night and decided to make a card for The Play Date Cafe Challenge, PDCC41.
I needed to make a card for a friends little boy and Play Date's image made me think of the Mediterranean, sun, sea - boats.
This is a very simple card - the boat was cut with a sizzix die and the checked paper is from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping buy!

House and Home

Hey guys!

I've got another challenge... I just can't help myself - they're addictive! This one was posted by Debbie over at The Shabby Tea Room. The challenge is called "House and Home", and we're supposed to create a card using soft blues, creams, whites and browns.

We were to use this house for our inspiration - colour, content or both if we so decided.

The colour pallet was simply adorable - very pure and childlike. This is my creation.

So check out Debbie's blog and enter your own creations!

The Play Date Cafe Challenge

Wow! Two posts in one day! I am on a bit of a roll with challenges at the moment so thought I would keep it going.

I'm joining in the PDCC40 challenge this week on The Play Date Cafe blog. Colours are black/white and a splash of green. Nothing like leaving things to the last minute - the challenge finishes tomorrow morning.
Here's my take.
I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4 and the pregnant mum was cut using my Silhouette machine.

Thanks for looking.
