I am just popping in to share a card I made with the new Jane's Doodles 'Garden Friends' set. I love this set, it has the cutest little critters :)

I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday... I am on holidays at the moment and am busy spring cleaning the house, so NOT fun!

Boy, it's a very busy time for me, but hopefully next week things will ease off and I can get some time to make cards and blog.

Can you say Fabulous! that is what this card from Joy is. This is 'Dress Up Marci' from La La Land and she is coloured to perfection.

Look at this gorgeous card from Ange - don't you just love the colours! She has used 'Luscious Ledger' background stamp from Hero Arts.

I have also used a stamp from La La Land for my card today, the adorable 'Fireman Luka' - he was so much fun to colour. The sentiment is from Purple Onion Designs and the background I made with distress inks.

Long Weekend

Hi there!

It's a dull sort of day here, weather wise, perfect for spending some time in the craft room :) And as an added bonus, it's a long weekend, YAY!

I have some lovely Design Team cards to share with you today.

Ange again shows the versatility of Lawn Fawn Stamps... she has taken the present from the Christmas set 'Bows and Holly' and combined it with Jane's Bakery to make this fab birthday card.

Joy has taken 'Sweet Threads' from Hero Arts and has coloured it with distress inks and perfect pearls, such a fun technique. She also stamped her background using the new Jenni Bowlin inks - these are fabulous!

This sweet little image is from My Favorite Things. It is from their Pure Innocence line and is called 'Don't Open Until'. She has been coloured with copics and paper pieced. The cloud background is from A Muse and I added a touch of twine.

Bad Blogger

I have been a terrible blogger this week :) Getting very busy at work with reports to write and lots and lots of marking!

So lets get straight into some wonderful cards by the design team.

How cute is this little skater girl with her matching skates and helmet! Joy's card is so sweet using 'Just Roll With It' from My Favorite Things. Her colouring is always amazing.

Ange's monochromatic card is so stylish. She has used 'Wish You Were Here' from Hero Arts. I just love the way she has used gems for the chair buttons.

Now, I am not very good at colouring with my copics (or colouring full stop!). But I decided that the only way to get better is to practice and these La La Land stamps are perfect for that. They have big open spaces that are easy to colour. This is the first time I have done 'skin' and I think it turned out ok :) The image is 'Chef Marci'.

I am also very excited to now have stamps from Purple Onion Designs available in the store - be sure to check them out.
