Ok, I do have some cards to share.


I love that Angeline only used two colours on her card (and a bit of red), it is so sweet. Such wonderful placement and design. These images are from the Sweet Offerings set and the sentiment is from 'Heartsong 2' from Skipping Stone Designs.

Ange's card is simply adorable! Love the mushrooms and the cute little snail. Both images are from 'Hey Kaylee' by Some Odd Girl.

I recently purchased some Prisma pencils and this is the first opportunity I have had to use them. Definetly a bit of a learning curve, but I enjoyed colouring with them :)  I did actually colour her face too! This sweet image is 'Rose' from Gorjuss and the balloon is from 'Balloon, Party Hat & Kite' from Purple Onion Designs.

It's been pretty cold and drizzly weather here for the last couple of days, so I am off to curl up on the couch and watch a couple of movies. Enjoy your day :)

Wow, this card by Ange is just stunning! This gorgeous image is from 'Victorian Summer' from Skipping Stone Designs.

Not only is this card by Angeline gorgeous, but it is a great way to use up scraps. I just love the design of this card and that font is fantastic. The sentiments are from Purple Onion Designs - 'Baby Noteblock'.

My card today uses a few products. Those fun bunnies are from 'Grey Hares' by Skipping Stone Designs, the tree is 'Twiggy Tree' from Memory Box, the grass die is from My Favorite Things Die-namics and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's 'Sophie's Sentiments'. (I actually made a boo boo with the sentiment and this is the only way I could cover it up)  :(

Carbon Copied

I am so excited today! I'm playing along with the fabulous Karen Baker for a Carbon Copied Challenge (same stamp set, same challenge, same day!) I love Karen's style and have been following her for a long time - she is the queen of misting!

We are both using the gorgeous 'Heartsong 2' stamp set from Skipping Stone Designs and playing along in the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge - Feathered Friends.

I stamped the bird image with Versamark ink and embossed it with clear powder, then used Distress Inks to colour the background. (Sorry that the card looks a little out of focus, not sure what happened) :)

I can't wait to see what Karen has created, come with me and check it out :)

My card today is ultra CAS. I have used stamps from 3 new Purple Onion Designs sets - these stamps from Stacey Yacula are so gorgeous, LOVE them all!  The stamps are 'Tucker', 'Flit & Flutter' and 'The Sweetest Day Sentiments'.

Hello 

Today was a holiday in Queensland, yay! so I spent the day relaxing around home and then went to the movies to see The Avengers. Can I just say AWESOME MOVIE!!!

I had so much fun making todays card and playing with my new Tim Holtz Distress Markers - seriously these are fabulous and so easy to use! I coloured straight onto the stamp and I love the result.

The EAD vinyl rub-on sentiment finishes it off nicely and they are so easy to use - they go on perfectly every time.

Today we have a brand new challenge starting, with another gorgeous inspiration board put together by Angeline.  Love it :)

I was inspired be the colours in the top right corner of the inspiration photo. Also, Paper Smooches is holding a contest for National Scrapbooking Day - to make card stock the main focus of your card - no patterned paper. I used flowers from 'Get Outta Town' and stamped them onto coloured card stock with VersaMark. The sentiment is from 'Party Posse'.

Feel Better Soon

Hi there.


I created a CAS card for the Jane's Doodles blog today using two fun sets - 'Raindrops' and 'Easter Time'. I used PTI paper and washi tape to paper piece the images. This little chick is so adorable!

I was inspired by the current sketch over at Less is More - but I altered it a little :) - hope it still qualifies.
