Hi there!


I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Mine is not as relaxing as I wished for... I have spent the morning painting my daughters room! I hate painting :(

Ok, I do have some cards to share.


Angeline has made this very cool and trendy tag using washi tape - I love washi tape :) The cute boots and sentiment come from Jane's Doodles 'Raindrops' set.



How about this super gorgeous Mother's Day card by Ange! I love the colour variations on the flowers - so lovely. Ange has used Jane's Doodles 'Mother's Day' set and Basic Grey/Hero Arts 'Luscious Patterned Flowers'.

For my card today I am using the same background as my previous post (this was the first one I did, but I was going to bin it because of the bad stamping at the bottom - changed my mind :)). 

There are some new Memory Box dies in store so I decided to play. This uses 'Perched Reedbird' and 'Woodland Branch' - these dies are so delicate. The sentiment is made using some old Making Memories stickers I found and a few drops of distress ink ' spiced marmalade'.


Ok, I am off to get some lunch... I am starving after all my hard work :)

Unity - Friends With Flair

Hello.  I am so happy it is Friday today and I am really looking forward to relaxing this weekend :)


I wanted to share a card I made for Unity's Friends with Flair - this did not photograph as well as I hoped.


The sweet little images are from a set called 'On my way' and are just darling. They are coloured with copics and the windows all have glossy accents (which does not show in the photo).  I thought this card would work well for someone getting their licence in any one of these vehicles or it could also work for a boy's birthday.



Unity is also having a big sale on all their past Kit of the Month's, so some shopping may be in order :)

Jay Gee's Nook

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. The weather here is absolutely stunning :) I have spent some time this morning getting crafty, so after this post I had better do some housework!


Let's see some cards!


First up is this sweet creation from Ange - the sponging of the sky is gorgeous! All stamps used are from Lawn Fawn - 'Critters in the Forest' and 'Grand Greetings'




Angeline has made another fabulous one-layer card using stamps from Paper Smooches - "Reflections" and 'Pretty Phrases".



I am thrilled that Jay Gee's Nook is now stocking Skipping Stones Design's gorgeous stamps! They really are a delight. So for my card today, I decided to join in on their sketch challenge here.


This stamp set is called 'Grey Hares' and there are some really humorous sentiments that come with it.

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge 19 April - 2 May

Hello 



Well, it is with sadness that I write this, my last post as part of the SPARKS Design Team.  I have had an absolute blast working with Kim, the fabulous girls on the team and of course these amazing stamps. I want to publicly thank Kim for having given me this opportunity.




Here is the yummy inspiration photo that Kim has chosen. I decided to use the free digital stamps that Kim offers here for my card - I have used the basket, feather/leaf and bunch of flowers. I printed them on card stock and paper pieced each one. The basket I embossed to resemble the waffle cone.

Hello.

I hope you are having a fun weekend... I am busy painting! The craft room is taking a little longer than expected. Oh well... the best laid plans and all that :)

Our first card today is an adorable Get Well card from Angeline. The fun plaster/band aid image is from Lawn Fawn's 'On the Mend' and the patterned paper is from their 'Petite Paper Pack'.


Next up is this fun and trendy card from Ange who has made the perfect Thanks Teacher card! All these cute images are from Paper Smooches 'Smarty Pants' set.


I am super excited that we now stock Some Odd Girl and Lil' Inker Designs! Keep checking the store because we have a few more companies coming soon.

For todays card I have used a couple of new products. This adorable image is from Lil' Inker Designs and is called 'Cocoa Bear'.  He is coloured with copics - I tried to give him a more 'furry' type look with my colourless blender, but not sure it worked too well, lol. 

These fishtail banners are all over the place at the moment and were so easy to cut out with the new Die-namics 'Fishtail Flag Stax.

Happy Friday!


I wanted to share the card I made for todays Unity - Friends with Flair. I adore this cute little image, which is called funnily enough - You Are Cute :)


I used a sentiment from Paper Smooches 'Word Salad'.



I am also entering this into Cas-ual Fridays current challenge - Opposites Attract. I coloured my image with copic markers in green and purple (the purple looks more like black in the photo, but I promise it is purple :)).
