Ange has very cleverly used the roses from 'Victorian Summer' - Skipping Stones Designs - to create a decorative edge on this lovely card.


How about this stunning cutie from Angeline! What's not to love about this card, especially the orange and the image!  This is 'Rosie' from Purple Onion Designs.


Iwona has a fun card today that uses 'Raindrops' from Jane's Doodles. The stamped background is so effective in creating the mood of this card.

 I am loving all the cards I have seen lately using the emboss resist technique, like this one and this. So here is mine, using 'Roses' from Jane's Doodles.

I used the current Play Date Cafe challenge colours, although I don't think mine are quite dark enough!

Jane's Doodles New Release Blog Hop

Hi!
And welcome to another Jane's Doodles new release blog hop!! :)  We're releasing 5 fabulous sets  today! Hopefully you have arrived here from Laura's blog - weren't her creations gorgeous!

My first card uses this adorable little snowman that Mariana designed - isn't he so sweet.  The patterned paper is from My Minds Eye.


 For the next card, I used this fun alien from the new Space set that Jane drew - don't you love his big eyes.  I embossed my background with the Sizzix swiss dots folder and then used sandpaper to revel the white core underneath - perfect for a sprinkling of stars :)
For my last card, I stamped this stunning sunflower onto Lawn Fawn's Bright Side paper 3 times and then paper pieced it. I added some shading with Prismacolour pencils.

Here is a close up of all the lovely dimension :)

Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 4

 Hasn't this been a fabulous release! What has been you favourite? I must confess I love everything so much that I put in an order for the lot! Can't wait for my new dies to arrive :)

 Today I am showcasing Best Witches stamp set.


Isn't this the sweetest image! I coloured her with prisma pencils and copics. I kept my design very simple. I can't wait to team her up with the new 'Your Invited' stamp set - I think she would look fabulous for a 'costume party' invite. The cute little cloud is a Lil' Inker Designs die - love the signature stitching.

Skipping Stones Design - Sketch Challenge #147

 Welcome to SSD's Sketch Challenge #147.

 We have another fabulous sketch from Kim Kesti today - it has been so much fun using her sketches this month :)

The team are all featuring the same set today, either Grunge 1 or 2.  I love this scallop background stamp from the original Grunge set, it is so versatile - it would make great dragon scales :) The sentiment is also from the same set. Both of these sets are perfect for masculine cards, but I wanted a more feminine feel today, hence my purple colour scheme. The bird is from Heartsong 2.

Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 2

 Just as well that I am on holidays, because it's going to be a busy week on the old blog!

 Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop.

 Today, I am showcasing this sweet little set - I just love it!


I really, really love the shabby/vintage style, but I just find it so hard to do!!!  I take my hat off to all the ladies out there that can match papers, stamps and embellishments with layer upon layer and make it look good.  LOL... here is my shabby attempt - again!  I think I should just stick to CAS :)

 The image was coloured with copics and then I went over the whole thing with Antique Linen distress ink to tone down the colours. Isn't the image just darling?

EAD Designs Blog Hop

Well, my first day of holidays has been kind of busy. I was up at 4am (couldn't sleep), I ran some errands, did some housework, got crafty and even finally managed to get my Tax done! Not bad for day one.

Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop. 

 We will be celebrating this fabulous release all week long. What's even more exciting is that both design teams are combining for this hop to bring you even more inspiration.  How fun is that!

 This release has something for everyone - new Lil' Inker Designs stamp set and dies, 2 Cute Ink stamps and Sugar Kissed stamps.  Here's a look at the adorable set I am showcasing today.

Isn't this little Ghostie just too cute! I coloured him with copics and then paper pieced him. For the moon and stars I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls first, and then coloured with copics - it gives them a nice shine in real life :)

All the new goodies releasing this week are now available in the shop.

Jay Gee's Nook Design Team

Hello, hello... how are you all today?

 I am in a good mood, because I just started two weeks holiday - yay me! I have heaps and heaps of work around the house that needs doing, but I am hoping to slip away every now and then to make some cards :)

 I have some fun cards to share with you today.

 Angeline makes the most stunning cards using dies - here she has used the 'Prim Poppy' die from Memory Box.


Ange's fabulons création could easily be used as either a masculine or feminine card. The images and sentiment come from 'Old Fashioned Afternoon' by Sweet Stamp Shop.


I love this Christmas card from Iwona - look at that adorable bow!, such a fun little addition. This stamp is called 'Ivy Wreath' and it is from Hero Arts.

I made a cute little card today using some new goodies from the shop :) The tree and grass are both dies from C.C. Designs. The cute owl image is called 'Birthday Owl' and is from Lil' Inker Designs - there 2 Cute Ink line of stamps.

I took a few liberties with this sketch. I turned it on it's end and used three of the martini glasses for the main focal point - hope Kim doesn't mind :) The patterned paper is an oldie from Cosmo Cricket - Early Bird.

EAD Designs and Action Wobbles Co-Hop

Hello and welcome to this fun co-hop EAD Designs is having with Action Wobbles!

 I am super excited to get to play with Action Wobbles and thought they would be perfect for a child's Christmas card. To create my card I used this fun owl image from a new set of stickerz called 'Christmas Owlies'. Isn't he adorable! I attached the owl to card stock, fussy cut it out and then stuck the action wobble to the back.


I tried to take a close up of the owl wobbling - very hard to do. LOL, believe me, these things really WOBBLE and are so much fun! Perfect for an entertaining, interactive card for children.

At Skipping Stones Design, we are celebrating the new release of another hilarious stamp set - Cheers!

 Don't you just love this sassy girl! I dressed her up for a night on the town - not sure if those rosy checks are from bad makeup or too much wine :)



As always, this set has lots of fun sentiments perfect for so many occasions.

Jay Gee's Nook Design Team

Hello.  How are you all?

 I am bad! Not bad in feeling unwell or anything... just bad, naughty! I am a very, very, VERY slow card maker. I have spent a lot of time this weekend making cards, trying to get a start on all the DT cards I need to make (there are a few new releases over the next couple of weeks). But... I ran out of time to make a card for TODAY!!!

 Thank goodness my wonderful DT girls are on the ball :)

 Ange has made a stylish card combining the flower stamp from 'Fly High' - Jane's Doodles and this wonderful sentiment from 'Grand Greetings' by Lawn Fawn. Gorgeous design and card.


Isn't this card from Iwona fabulous! I just love the splatters - such a fun detail. She has used the Fresh Picked stamp from Wplus9 along with coordinating Wplus9 Dies (Label Layers 5 and Fresh Picked die - for the berry).

Angeline has made another stunning one layer card - seriously she is the best at these types of cards and what an unexpected, yet lovely colour palette. Stamps used are 'Dandelion Dreams' by Skipping Stones Designs.

I can't believe that it's Monday again already! But, that does mean its time for this weeks EAD Designs blog hop.

He he... don't you just love this scary moon! I stuck this onto my tag first and then used a number of different distress inks to colour the tag - then just wiped the moon sticker off. Because the stickers are transparent, if I had put it on after colouring the tag, the moon would be orange.

It's A Beautiful Day!

The sun is shinning, there is a cool breeze blowing and it's Sunday - absolutely perfect :)

 I am just popping in here to share Jay Gee's Nook Design team cards.

 And to match the gorgeous Spring weather is this gorgeous card from Iwona (happy coincidence). This sweet girl is 'Sweet Thinkin' Mae' from Some Odd Girl.

 How fun is this Teacher card from Ange! I love the framed sentiment and the gorgeous gingham. Ange has used 'School's Out' from Sweet Stamp Shop.


Angeline has created yet another stunning project using Memory Box dies. This is so dramatic with the red and I love how she created the shadow under the flowers.


For my card I used this gorgeous rose bud from the new Jane's Doodles set 'Roses'. It is coloured with Prismas and then I covered the bud with glossy accents - you can't really see it in the photo, but it looks great IRL :) The banner is from Purple Onion Designs.

I am popping in today to share the card I made for this weeks Skipping Stones Design sketch challenge. My card is a very literal interpretation of the sketch :)  I used the fun Grey Hares stamp set which has lots of great sentiments for different occasions.


The card also uses papers from Lawn Fawn's 'Bright Side' collection and I added a little sewing.
