I used an old sketch from Retro Sketches challenge blog as my start point. The coffee cup and stain come from one of my favourite Skipping Stones sets - Funny Coffee.

I have long been a fan of Skipping Stones Designs stamps, they really are very funny and I want to thank Heather for giving me this opportunity and all the team for their support.

Skipping Stones Designs - Tag Hop

Hi and welcome back.

Today the Skipping Stones Designs, Design Team is having a Tag Hop!  We are all using the same tag sketch and making a festive, Christmas themed tag, so fun.

The lovely Christmas Tree and Snowflake images I have used are from the gorgeous new set that was released yesterday - Victorian Christmas. Lots of distress ink here and some bling :)

Today Skipping Stones Design is releasing a fabulous new Christmas set - Victorian Christmas. This set is full of really elegant images. I have used this gorgeous ornament image which I embossed in gold onto patterned paper.  The sentiment is a rub-on from EAD Designs.

Skipping Stones Designs Challenge #151

Hello

It's time for another Skipping Stones Design Sketch and today we are highlighting the Fangs or Fur set, in honour of the latest Twilight movie due out very soon. 

This is a fun set, particularly if you are a Twilight fan. For my card I used this sweet image of Edward and Bella. I kept the colours very neutral and then used a splash of colour with the heart.

This weeks retro sketch was by Amy Sheffer. Notice how my card is nothing like it! Well, I had one of those 'D'oh' moments and used the wrong sketch!

Skipping Stones Designs - Sketch #149

Hello

This month at Skipping Stones Designs we are revisiting some of our favorite retro sketches! This weeks retro sketch was designed by Cristina Kowelczyk.

My card today uses You Know Your'e Getting' Old Birthday - both the sentiment and 'thongs' are from this set. I am thinking now that I should have added the second part of the sentiment to the inside of the card - oh well, there's always next time :)

Feature Friday - Happy Birthday

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card I made for Skipping Stones Designs Feature Friday. I love this set - You Know Your'e Getting' Old Birthday, there are several very humorous sentiments in this set, but I decided to use the traditional sentiment for this card :)

I stamped over some patterned paper for the background and coloured my image with copics and even added a little bit of lace!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to spend some time getting crafty on World Card Making Day tomorrow :)

Welcome to SSD's Sketch Challenge #147.

We have another fabulous sketch from Kim Kesti today - it has been so much fun using her sketches this month :)

The team are all featuring the same set today, either Grunge 1 or 2.  I love this scallop background stamp from the original Grunge set, it is so versatile - it would make great dragon scales :) The sentiment is also from the same set. Both of these sets are perfect for masculine cards, but I wanted a more feminine feel today, hence my purple colour scheme. The bird is from Heartsong 2.

Skipping Stones Designs New Release Blog Hop

I took a few liberties with this sketch. I turned it on it's end and used three of the martini glasses for the main focal point - hope Kim doesn't mind :) The patterned paper is an oldie from Cosmo Cricket - Early Bird.

At Skipping Stones Design, we are celebrating the new release of another hilarious stamp set - Cheers!

Don't you just love this sassy girl! I dressed her up for a night on the town - not sure if those rosy checks are from bad makeup or too much wine :)

As always, this set has lots of fun sentiments perfect for so many occasions.

Skipping Stones Design Challenge #144

I am popping in today to share the card I made for this weeks Skipping Stones Design sketch challenge. My card is a very literal interpretation of the sketch :)  I used the fun Grey Hares stamp set which has lots of great sentiments for different occasions.

The card also uses papers from Lawn Fawn's 'Bright Side' collection and I added a little sewing.

Exciting News!

I've been dying to spill the beans for ages and now I can tell you!  I was lucky enough to make the Skipping Stones Design Team!  

You can check out the reveal of the new team on the shop blog here!  And I couldn't make the announcement without having a card to share :)

I used Distress Inks to do a water colour wash and then stamped the image and sentiment from Heartsong 2.

I wanted to play along with CASE Study's latest challenge, 'to CASE one of our players' and I chose this gorgeous card by Sanketi.
