Congratulations Lin. Please email me with your address and I will get your prize out to you.

Now, let's see what the Design Team have been up to.

Angeline has done a little masking to make this beautiful Christmas Tree card using a background stamp from 'Grunge' by Skipping Stones Designs. Love the red and aqua colour combo.

Love these awesome 'waves' in Ange's fun card, they just look amazing. The cute little turtles are from 'Critters in the Sea' by Lawn Fawn.

Iwona has added some stitching to make these gorgeous blooms, with a little help from 'Pretty Peonies' from Jane's Doodles :)

I choose this adorable image 'Arctic Friends' form Lil' Inker Design's '2 Cute Ink' line to ink up today. Coloured with copics, some fun background paper, some washi tape and the awesome stitched banner (only from Lil' Inker directly).

Have a fabulous day :)

Jay Gee's Nook

Hello

I have some beauties to share with you today:

Iwona's card reflects the beautiful weather we have been having here (in Townsville). This card is just one of those that make you 'feel good' - brillant! This adorable image is 'Sunny Mae' from Some Odd Girl.

I love this fun and funky card by Ange. She has used Paper Smooches 'Daisies & Paisleys' stamp set.
The rainbow colour effect is very cool!

 Ange

Every wonder what to do with your Washi Tape? Well here is a clever and gorgeous card from Angeline using Washi Tape as the background!

For my card today I used a new stamp called 'Caroling Emma' from C.C.Designs.  I decided to have a play with some non-traditional Christmas colours and I really like this colour combo :)

We had a new challenge start last week, and we would love you to play along with us.  Just link your project HERE.

Jay Gee's Nook DT

Hi there!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Mine is not as relaxing as I wished for... I have spent the morning painting my daughters room! I hate painting :(

But, something that I do enjoy is announcing the winner of Challenge #18, thank you to everyone who took the time to enter :) The winner is:

It's Lynn!!!!

Congratulations Lynn. Please email me and I will pop something in the mail for you. Next week we will start a new challenge.

Ok, I do have some cards to share.

Angeline has made this very cool and trendy tag using washi tape - I love washi tape :) The cute boots and sentiment come from Jane's Doodles 'Raindrops' set.

How about this super gorgeous Mother's Day card by Ange! I love the colour variations on the flowers - so lovely. Ange has used Jane's Doodles 'Mother's Day' set and Basic Grey/Hero Arts 'Luscious Patterned Flowers'.

 Ange

For my card today I am using the same background as my previous post (this was the first one I did, but I was going to bin it because of the bad stamping at the bottom - changed my mind :)).

There are some new Memory Box dies in store so I decided to play. This uses 'Perched Reedbird' and 'Woodland Branch' - these dies are so delicate. The sentiment is made using some old Making Memories stickers I found and a few drops of distress ink ' spiced marmalade'.

Ok, I am off to get some lunch... I am starving after all my hard work :)

Cheers

DT Post

Hello. Sunday here means Design Team cards to share, and I have some wonderful cards to show you :)

But first, I would like to remind you about our current challenge - you still have plenty of time to play. Just click the 'note' below to see all the details.

Joy's starting us off today with a Seasonal card with a difference. That background is a little non-traditional but looks amazing! The stamp is 'Houndstooth Background' from Hero Arts/Studio Calico. I bet she had fun adding all those buttons and bling :)

Ange has a delightful card using 'Summer Christmas Marci' from La La Land. I know everyone 'down under' can appreciate this stamp as we celebrate Christmas at summertime. The colouring on this card is superb.

Next is another super card from Iwona and again the colouring is superb! This sweet image is 'Presents For You' from MFT Pure Innocence. Iwona also used some Die-Namics - MFT have a wonderful range.

How about this beauty from Angeline! She has used Japanese Masking Tape to make this gorgeous card. The sweet sentiment is from 'Chit Chat' from Paper Smooches.

I have tried something new on my card today - embossing using a spellbinders die. I know this is not new :), but I saw it on this card by Jenny (thank you Jenny) and wanted to give it a go. My Santa from Jane's Doodles 'Vintage Christmas' was the perfect fit. The little holly leaves are from 'Christmas Wonder' by Practicing Creativity. I thought I would enter this into the challenge over at Just Us Girls - they are having a colour challenge - Red, Green and White.

I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

DT Post

Welcome to our Sunday DT post! I hope you are all having a great weekend.

I have some fabulous cards to share with you today, so lets get straight into it :)

(Remember to check out the DT's blogs for more details on their cards)

Ange has made this lovely Christmas card using Practicing Creativity's Retro Christmas set. And that large ornament is made with Japanese Masking Tape - brilliant!

This super cute card Joy made again uses a Practicing Creativity's set, The Whole Cycle. Joy also used some yummy A Muse gingham paper (love this) and bakers twine.

My card today is different to what I usually do - it was a special order for a friends daughter (I think she likes pink LOL)

For my main image I used Lawn Fawn's Bake Me A Cake set and I added glossy accents to the icing to give it a nice shine. The banner was made with the Die-namics die, 'Banner Day Die' from My Favorite Things. Lace from Fancy Pants, letters are American Craft velvet thickers, scrunched seam binding and bakers twine finish it off.

I am entering this card in the Wee Memories Challenge #30. It is Jenny's one year blog birthday - Happy Blog Birthday Jenny!
Remember to enter our monthly challenge - the link can be found on the sidebar. We have had some amazing entries already and would love it if you joined us.

Busy Week

Hello

I have had such a busy week - I miss it when I have so little time to make cards! Thank goodness for weekends.

For this card I used an old sketch from Unity's WCMD Sketch Challenge.

The first layer is embossed with Tim Holtz's woodgrain folder and the white circle is embossed with the Sizzix stars folder. The sentiment is from PTI and the butterfly from Amy Butler. I also used Japanese masking tape for the two horizontal stripes.

DT Goodness

Boy, these Sunday's seem to roll around faster and faster! (Only 8 weeks left of school before I am on holidays! Yay!)

Ange and Joy have some amazing cards to share with you today.

This is another fun card Ange made, again using Lawn Fawn's 'Just My Type' set. That paper pieced phone is so cute! And she added my favourite Twine!

Joy has also used a set from Lawn Fawn. This is a little set sold as a single stamp called 'Winter Bunny'. Isn't he cute? And notice that background? - Japanese masking tape! Another fun card.

Didn't I tell you these girls are fabulous!

My card today is a CAS card that would be easy to reproduce. Both the little houses and the sentiment are from A Muse and I used lots of glitter for the snow.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

PS. Lots of things happening in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye on the blog.

Japanese Masking Tape

Hello.

I have had some Japanese masking tape in my stash for a little while now, but was not really sure how I was going to use it. Then I came across Torico's blog (Wow! amazing lady) and saw this card (second card). I really like the black/craft combination.

Little wheels in my head started spinning and I decided the latest Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #16 would be perfect to use with my MT tape and the afore mentioned colour combo.

I am also entering this into Caardvarks Clean and Simple Challenge.

The tape does not look straight in the photo, but it is :) It's just my limited photography skills!

Here is my card, ultra simple. I love this tape! Sentiment stamp is from PTI.

Enjoy you day.

A quick note to let you know that New stamps are in store now from A Muse.
