Now, let's see what the Design Team have been up to.

This gorgeous one layer Christmas card from Angeline would be perfect to mass produce - the colour combo is fabulous too. Stamps are all from 'Let It Snow' from Lawn Fawn.

Ange is showing her mad colouring skills with this adorable CAS card. All stamps are from Purple Onion Designs and include 'Toadstool', 'Sweet Offerings' and The Sweetest Day Sentiment' set.

Iwona has also used stamps from Purple Onion Designs (Sunny Blooms), for a completely different look. The way she has done the background using different mists is gorgeous. The sentiment is from 'Chit Chat' by Paper Smooches.

For my card today, I decided to have a little fun with Lawn Fawn's 'Critters in the Snow'. The little light bulbs are from 'Retro Christmas Backgrounds' by Practicing Creativity.

DT Magic

Hi there...

...you are going to love todays cards by the DT team, every one of them is stunning - have I told you lately how fabulous these girls are!

First up we have this stunning and dramatic card by Angeline. I love how this turned out. The stamps used are "Refections" by Paper Smooches.

For those of you celebrating the start of Spring, this gorgeous card by Ange is perfect! She has used 'Barefoot Summer' from Practicing Creativity.

Who would not want this beautiful bookmark for themselves? Iwona has done a wonderful job with this gorgeous set by Hero Arts/Studio Calico, "I Love Books".

For my card, I let the fabulous patterned paper do all the work - it is from October Afternoon, but quite old :) My adorable bunny is from Jane's Doodles "Easter Time" and the sentiment is from Practicing Creativity "Everyday Prints".

Our current challenge is still running until 31 March, you will find the link on the sidebar - we would love you to join in :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.

DT Post

Hello. Sunday here means Design Team cards to share, and I have some wonderful cards to show you :)

But first, I would like to remind you about our current challenge - you still have plenty of time to play. Just click the 'note' below to see all the details.

Joy's starting us off today with a Seasonal card with a difference. That background is a little non-traditional but looks amazing! The stamp is 'Houndstooth Background' from Hero Arts/Studio Calico. I bet she had fun adding all those buttons and bling :)

Ange has a delightful card using 'Summer Christmas Marci' from La La Land. I know everyone 'down under' can appreciate this stamp as we celebrate Christmas at summertime. The colouring on this card is superb.

Next is another super card from Iwona and again the colouring is superb! This sweet image is 'Presents For You' from MFT Pure Innocence. Iwona also used some Die-Namics - MFT have a wonderful range.

How about this beauty from Angeline! She has used Japanese Masking Tape to make this gorgeous card. The sweet sentiment is from 'Chit Chat' from Paper Smooches.

I have tried something new on my card today - embossing using a spellbinders die. I know this is not new :), but I saw it on this card by Jenny (thank you Jenny) and wanted to give it a go. My Santa from Jane's Doodles 'Vintage Christmas' was the perfect fit. The little holly leaves are from 'Christmas Wonder' by Practicing Creativity. I thought I would enter this into the challenge over at Just Us Girls - they are having a colour challenge - Red, Green and White.

I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

It's Time

For another Sunday DT post!

To start this week off, we have another stunningly coloured card from Iwona using one of the Gorjuss girls - this one is called 'Fox Gloves'

Angeline has made another beautiful Christmas card using 'Rejoice' from Practicing Creativity. Her style is so elegant!

Joy has created a great 'guys' card with a mix of stamps. This fun background stamp is 'Formula Fun' from Hero Arts. The cool TV is from Paper Smooches 'Boob Tube' and the sentiment from 'Sentiment Sampler' and to finish is off, some Charcoal twine from The Twinery.

What a fun birthday card from Ange! This is a My Favorite Things 'a-la-mode' stamp - there are lots of cute ones to choose from and they include sentiments.

 Ange

I made a very CAS card this week for the Moxie Fab World 'The Random Fun' Challenge. This fun cocktail is a Sparkle Creations stamp called 'Cocktail Emily' - I actually cut Emily off and paper pieced the rest of the image. The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles 'Big Sentiments' set.

We still have our current challenge running - Use your holiday stamps to create a Non-holiday card! We would love you to join us. You can find the link on the side bar.

Enjoy the rest of you weekend :)

Hello

Gosh, Sunday rolls around so fast, doesn't it! I don't mind the work week going fast, but I sure wish the weekend would slow down :)

I have some gorgeous cards to share with you today.

Check out the sublime colouring skills of Iwona!  This card is just so WOW! The wonderful image is 'Winter Friend' from Gorjuss.

I have a sweet little tag from Angeline next. She has very cleverly masked this Christmas tree using 'For The Love Of Dots' from Practicing Creativity.

Joy's cards are always amazing and this is another example of her wonderful style. A cute baby card using 'A Little Lovin' from Paper Smooches.

Ange has a lovely Christmas card for us today - aren't those ornaments stunning! All the stamps used on this card are from Hero Arts.

I needed a hello card for a friends daughter - she likes cows, (is that weird?), so this image from Paper Smooches 'Chubby Chums' was perfect.

Remember if you are looking for a challenge, you still have time to enter ours... click on the link located on the sidebar to go to the original post.

Cheers :)

Hello

Wow, what a busy week! Hopefully tomorrow I will have my computer up and running again, fingers crossed :)

The DT have some wonderful cards to share with you today, so lets dive straight in.

Ange has created the cutest card using this adorable stamp from Lawn Fawn called 'Winter Fox'. I love how she stamped that teeny tiny Christmas Tree on the mug.

Love all the embossing on Joy's wonderful Christmas card. She has used Hero Arts 'Merry Christmas Tree' set and finished the card with Honeydew Twine from The Twinery.

Next up, we have a beautiful tag from Angeline using Lawn Fawn's 'Many Thanks' set. I love this sweet sentiment.

How fun is this card by Iwona and how beautifully coloured! This is 'Buccaneer Marci' from La La Land - gorgeous isn't she?

I have also gone with a Christmas theme for my card, with lots of distressing and some misting. The label and sentiment both come from 'Everyday Prints' from Practicing Creativity... I just love this font. The holly leaves are from another set called 'Christmas Wonder', also by Practicing Creativity.

Well I hope your Sunday is wonder, thanks for stopping by :)

DT Post

Whew!... can you believe it is October already... how scary is that! I hope you all had a wonderful World Card Making Day yesterday - or today, for those of you who are still celebrating :)

I have an amazing line up of cards to share with you all today, my DT team rocks!!!

Angeline's card is so stylish and perfect for mass producing if you are looking for some CAS Christmas card ideas. The sentiment comes from a set called 'Rejoice' and the stripes on the banner strip are from 'Retro Chirstmas' - both from Practicing Creativity.

I just love this card - Ange's colouring is absoulety gorgeous! This stamp is from Sparkle Creations (a new company in the shop) and is called 'Rin with Snowman'.

 Ange

This next card is classic Joy! Simple elegance. This balloon stamp is another from Practicing Creativity called 'Look Up'.

Iwona amazes me each week with her beautiful colouring and wonderful designs. This gorgeous stamp is of course from La La Land stamps called 'Birthday Marci'. These stamps really are fantastic to practice your copic colouring.

Amazing cards so far right! Each week I feel a little more intimated placing my cards amongst this group, LOL.

This is my third card this week for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I focused on the colour scheme again and the baby theme. This set is called 'A Little Lovin'

I really appreciate you stopping by :)

New Design Team Member

Hello

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there!

I am very happy and excited today because the fabulously talented Iwona (Chupa) has joined our Design Team! Yay... I am so lucky to have THE BEST design team! - love these girls.

Let's kick off with Iwona's card. She has used 'Boy & His Dog Snow Adorable' from MFT's Pure Innoence line and WOW, her colouring is amazing! Fabulous design and gorgeous card.

It's officially spring here 'down under' and Ange is getting a jump on the holiday season with this gorgeous Christmas card using Hero Arts stamps. The wonderful stamped background is a stamp from Practicing Creativity called 'For The Love Of Grids'.

Joy's stunning card uses lots of Hero Arts goodies and the fantastic Jenni Bowlin inks, Cough Syrup, Chicken Feed and Brown Sugar. Love the layers on the flower and how she curled the ends for more dimension.

Angeline's lovely card is all about sentiments and it is so sweet! She has combined two different sets - 'For The Love Of Dots' from Practicing Creativity and 'Sophie's Sentiments' from Lawn Fawn. And her adorable sweet she created with Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery. Boy, thats a lot of 'sweet'!

Angeline

I am also very excited by all the new product in the shop at the moment. I could not wait to ink up some Paper Smooches! I wanted to enter CAS-ual Fridays challenge which is to create a project inspired by a book and use the colours black, white and red. My card is inspired by 'Fat Cat' a great children's book.
(I took liberties with the colours :))

Whew! That was a long post! Have a fantastic day.

Exciting News!

Hello there.

I was super excited earlier this week when I saw this post by the amazing Karen Baker. She is starting a new and unique challenge called 'carbon copied'. For her first challenge Karen teamed up with the lovely Lynn and they featured Jay Gee's Nook challenge - wow, talk about being thrilled. If you haven't had a look yet, pop on over to Karen's blog and sign up to play.

But that's not all...

I have more exciting news. I would like to introduce a new Design Team member to Jay Gee's. She is incredibly talented, her style is CAS - very elegant and stylish CAS - and she has been published no less than 27 times this year! Please help us welcome the fabulous Angeline Yong Jeet Leen.

Right, lets look at some cards.

Angeline has used a set from Practicing Creativity called 'For the Love of Dots'. I would never have thought to use this set to make Christmas ornaments - gorgeous and brilliant!

Next is another beautiful card from Ange, who has used 'Stems & Grass' from Purple Onion Designs. I love the soft, earthy colour palette of this card with the punch of turquoise.

Joy has created another swoon worthy card, using my favourite gingham paper. The gorgeous flower is a stamp from 'Layered Flowers' and the sentiment is from 'Sending Smiles Messages' - both sets are from Hero Arts.

I really had fun making my card. I took this little Pure Innocence stamp 'Don't Open Until', coloured her with copics and masked off the present. I thought she looked like she was waiting for someone so I put her in a window frame, which I got from Google images. I then cut a couple of 'Leafy Flourish's' from die-namics which I twined around the window. The sentiment is from 'Find Joy', from Hero Arts.

Me

Well, thanks for visiting... have a fabulous day.

Hey There

How are you all? These weeks just seem to be whizzing by! It's hard to keep up.

I have some more cards to share with you from the DT today.

Ange has made the perfect summer card here, it's so fun! She has used 'Lauderdale Sunshine' from Hero Arts. Love the colourful swimsuit.

Look at this cute little card from Joy! She has used a combination of stamps on this card - 'Robot Trio' from Hero Arts, 'Carved Love' from Practicing Creativity for the background and 'Hello Friend' from Lawn Fawn for the sentiment.

I got some new Glimmer Mist this week and could not resist having a play :) The fun frame is from 'Fanciful Frames' from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from 'Little Bundle' from Practicing Creativity - this set has some really lovely baby sentiments. And I added the perfect button from Jane's Doodles.

Me

Have a lovely Sunday and for all those enjoying the 4th of July celebrations - have fun!

Happy Mothers Day everyone!

And if you are not a mother, I hope you have a wonderful day with your mothers, grandmothers and family.

If you have time to be crafty today (and I hope you do) how about entering our challenge (the link is on the sidebar). We would love to have you join us :)

And speaking of our challenge, Joy has made another fabulous card to help inspire you. Isn't this just so soft and pretty? The background is actually
Hero Arts Designer Papers; these are gorgeous if you have not used them yet. The image and sentiment are both from Hero Arts 'Just Saying Hi' set.

Ange has made an amazing birthday card - looks so great with all the different sentiments. Can you believe it's all from one set! -
Practicing Creativity's 'Another Year'. This would look gorgeous in a variety of different colours.

My experimenting continues and I tried water colouring today with distress inks on water colour paper. I do find colouring so difficult and I am not sure why. All the stamps used on this card are from Hero Arts. The background was stamped with Envelope Pattern, the sentiment is from Find Joy and the flower is Hand Drawn Flower. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

I am off to enjoy the rest of the day with my family... I have already had pancakes for breakfast, I wonder what is next?
