Card Style "Fun and Cute" Challenge

Hey guys!

Challenge time again! I decided to partake in the Card Style Fun and Cute Challenge over at Moxie Fab World. It's part of the Card Style Week Cath is hosting, and one of four design challenges she's come up with.

The "Fun and Cute" guidelines state that a card of this genre must have a happy colour scheme, a sweet sentiment, an uncomplicated design, and friendly pattern.

So here's my entry!

I had fun making this card. The giraffe is a Sizzix die and I used my nesties for the oval. Patterned paper is just something I had in my stash and I used a Hero Arts note card.

Hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #33

Hey Guys!

I've recently found an amazing blog called Inkspirations by Makeesha Byl. Every so often she posts crafting challenges, and I've decided to give Keesh's latest sketch challenge a go. My very first one!
Wish me luck.

Being supplied with a basic layout, you're pretty much told to let your creative minds run wild and come up with whatever design you can imagine. So I went from this...

... and pulled my resources to come up with this...

I would strongly recommend checking out Keesh's blog and participating in her challenges - they are so much fun!

Happy creating,
Jay Gee

It's finally arrived! That's right, we've just got the latest shipment of stock in from The Twinery, our newest supplier, whom we whole-heartedly welcome into our little crafting family. The Twinery (as the name cleverly suggests) specialises in eco-friendly twine made of 100% cotton... so you know it's going to be good.

It comes in eight fantastically delicious colours, uniquely twisted against a bright white hue for a colouring that really catches the eye. Be sure to check it out!

For more ideas on how to use this fabulous new product, visit The Twinery's blog.

Friends and Flowers

Hey guys!

Here's something I threw together after seeing this card by Carly on one of my all-time favourite blogs Paper In Bloom.

The card stock and flower stamp are from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment stamp is from Elzybells.
