Photo Friday Challenge

Hi. I am back today with another Photo Friday Challenge, and Carly has chosen 'Animals' for this weeks theme.

Piece of cake... I have one of those :)

Umm, having an animal, I have found, does not guarantee a good photo! Especially when they don't want to sit still and cooperate with their mummy.

Anyway, this is Max, my 5 year old Border Collie. I apologise for the slightly out of focus photo - something for me to work on. He was just constantly distracted by everything, including the camera.

Make sure you check out Carly's blog and her beautiful photo and while you are there have a look at all the other submissions :)

Have a wonderful day.

He's a beautiful dog! I always loved and wanted a border collie.

As for the slightly out of focus photo, use shutter speed priority and depending on the scene and in this case he's sitting down, u can set at around 1/60 sec or up and you can freeze his movements. U can also consider using consecutive shots so that you have a few frames to choose from.

I do think this photo captures his motion and gives softness.

Not sure out of kids and pets which is easiest to photograph!!!

Max has the most beautiful colouring! Wow! I'm still working on capturing my animal photo. Despite the slight fuzziness (which I actually like with Max's colours), you have captured the reflection of light in his eyes beautifully. Great photo, Judith!

Max looks so soft and cute. You are lucky as I can never get a picture of our Pug, she just won't sit still long enough to get any kind of a shot that isn't total blur! So instead I do cats as they are much easier to photograph.
