Carly has posted this weeks challenge and the theme is 'night'... I had to think about this one :) We live in suburbia, with a street light right outside our house. There is no moon at the moment and our 'city' (town) does not have much in the way of interesting 'night' lights.
But, after taking many, many photos, I did manage to capture some stars.
I am really enjoying seeing how different each
persons interpretation of the theme is each week and a lot of the time I kick
myself for not thinking of the idea, LOL. And Carly's photos are always
totally amazing - check them out.

Awesome photo Judith!
I really enjoy seeing your pictures...this one is really neat...love the luscious green with the black sky and stars.
Wow, this is a truly unique photo. Have to say in my 40 some years of life I've never seen a photo like this. In German "geil".
Wow! Judith, your picture is gorgeous! I love the lush rich green of the tree against the beautiful night star-filled sky! Beautifully done!
Judith, this is GORGEOUS!!! I love it!! It looks like a scene in a movie. Great job!!! I am hoping I can get a one for this week's theme.
Have a great weekend!!
i love it! you must have a great tripod with no wind to take this picture. who long did you have the shutter speed on? in the past when i have taken night shots i get a little bit of blur because the earth moves:)
totally stunning Judith. Love the way the green really pops in the corner. Seeing your wonderful work, makes me realise I have such a long way to go...
Judith, this is fantastic! I was trying to capture the stars last night too (since we are just about at the New Moon), but my results were nowhere near as great as yours. I'm going to have to try to find my tripod, I think, LOL!
