Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello

Just as well that I am on holidays, because it's going to be a busy week on the old blog!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop.

Hopefully as part of the hop you’ve arrived here from Sarah Jay's blog. If not, you can start at the beginning at Laura Pryor's blog.

Today, I am showcasing this sweet little set - I just love it!

I really, really love the shabby/vintage style, but I just find it so hard to do!!!  I take my hat off to all the ladies out there that can match papers, stamps and embellishments with layer upon layer and make it look good.  LOL... here is my shabby attempt - again!  I think I should just stick to CAS :)

The image was coloured with copics and then I went over the whole thing with Antique Linen distress ink to tone down the colours. Isn't the image just darling?

Also, remember to comment on the blogs as you hop along!  Two secret blogs will have winners drawn from the comments left, so the more you comment, the better your chances are of winning!  Two commenters will have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice from the new illustrated sets and two more commenters will win a  $10 store credit!

Now it’s time to hop on over to see Alicia Thelin!

Cheers

Jay Gee

Judith, you have certainly done justice to the stamp. A wonderfully vintage looking card. I like your shabby style with just the right amount of embellishments.

Love the image of the two kids carving...reminds me of a time when my two eldest carved pumpkins (still need to scrapbook those photos...this stamp would look awesome on the page!). Love the bingo fall card too!
