Hello fellow bloggers.
I hope today sees you all fit and well. My prayers go out to my fellow Queenslander's who may be affected by the flooding - be safe.
I wanted to share a quick card with you today. I have been practicing with my copics - I find colouring hard to do, does anyone else have that problem?
Anyway, here is my card.
I embossed the cardstock with Tim Holtz's brick folder after painting it with silver crackle paint. This didn't work as well as I hoped (most of the paint just squeezed out), but it did give it a very light shine - did not photograph well.
I also found a really old label maker when I was cleaning up and used that to make my sentiment.
Enjoy your day.

Such a sweet guy card Judith, just love it!
I love this card! The label sentiment makes it just perfect.
This is so cool. I love the brick background. I think it looks perfect.
I can't color at all! Great boy card!
This is so fun Judith! I love that brick wall effect! Don't worry I too have trouble colouring! :)
I love, love, LOVE the label-made sentiment!
your colouring is great, perfect colour choice!! the only way to feel better about colouring is to practice in your spare time, I know you have heaps of that-lol!! what a neat way to use the OLD labeller! :)
Love those old labelers and it's so perfect for this card. I too struggle with colouring. Every once in a while I feel like I've gotten it right and I'm so excited but for the most part it's a struggle. I think Sue is right and it takes more practice than I have time for!
I think I need that BG now! And I just purchased a robot stamp yesterday! WAHOO!
This is a superb card. Really and truly.
Love the label maker, and such a great masculine card.
The brick wall is so grungy! Perfect for a boy! The robot is coloured excellently, I don't know what you're talking about :)
This card looks great Judith! I love the background and your colouring! Ange xx
wow I really like this!! I'd love to try that brick background wiht red crackle paint too!
I love that robot, I have to get that stamp!
good job on the colouring I think, doing the one colour like you've done here (all greys/silvers) is quite hard isn't it!
